Processes in manufacturing have become increasingly complex and ask for new levels of flexibility, collaboration and performance in Production IT. To address these challenges it is required that manufacturing companies have access to a broad range of manufacturing functionalities all of which can be integrated seamlessly and tailored to the company’s needs.
The Manufacturing Integration Platform (MIP) is an open platform for manufacturing. It is used as a central information and data platform in production and for all connected processes. This means that all applications communicate using a common information model guaranteeing a global interoperability. MIP users select from a multitude of so-called Manufacturing Apps (mApps) and decide on the functionalities they need. These mApps work seamlessly in tandem and can come from multiple providers.
This 45-minute webinar gives you an introduction to the MIP and the new ecosystem of mApps. Audience members will learn the benefits of the MIP and see for themselves how it has already been integrated into HYDRA MW 4.0.
The webinar will be given by Steffen Münch, Key Account Manager, and Daniel Wittkowsky, Manufacturing Solutions Architect.

- Use cases and examples for integrated mApps
