Mosbach, 10.01.2020 – "It’s time for MPDV to put the next generation at the helm," says Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jürgen Kletti, founder and CEO of MPDV, "and who could be better suited for this than an innovation driver, a bridge builder and a networker - especially since the latter, being my daughter, will also continue the family tradition." In the course of the company succession, MPDV, the market leader in manufacturing IT for the Smart Factory, is appointing three new managing directors as of October 1, 2020: innovation driver Thorsten Strebel (Vice President Products), bridge builder Jürgen Petzel (Vice President Sales) and networker Nathalie Kletti (Vice President Enterprise Development). All three experts had already been in the top management and representatives of key business areas of the successful medium-sized company since the beginning of 2018. Wolfhard Kletti, who has also served as managing director up to now, will retire on April 1, 2021.
More than 40 years of experience in the production environment
It is now common knowledge that the future of the manufacturing industry depends largely on the IT systems that support it. Today, with around 500 employees, more than 40 years of project experience and know-how from over 1,400 MES installations worldwide, MPDV's experts make a significant contribution to the success of many companies. Based on past experience and current developments, Prof. Kletti is optimistic about the future: "There is no doubt that the manufacturing industry will need innovative IT solutions in the long term. Thanks to the three aforementioned experts, I am placing the succession in competent hands. Hence, our continued operation is more than secured in the long term.” MPDV will remain completely self-financed even after the changes in the management and will therefore be able to act independently in the long term.
