Mosbach, 01.12.2020 – Smart Factory Cloud Services is the latest offer by MPDV making all products available as Software as a Service (SaaS). MPDV can deliver the services in only five working days. This gives the customer even more flexibility to react quickly to current trends and developments in the market. The applications are accessed online. Customers no longer need to operate the system in their own data center and don't have to worry about maintenance and service.
The Manufacturing Execution System (MES) HYDRA, the Advanced Planning and Scheduling System (APS) FEDRA and MPDV's Manufacturing Integration Platform (MIP) are now available as SaaS solutions. Users benefit from a wide range of advantages: MPDV handles the migration, operation, maintenance, servicing and security of the server applications. It guarantees that the system is always kept up-to-date. Internal fixed costs that would otherwise be incurred for an on premise solution are reduced to a minimum. „Customers can now focus on their production and work with the system on the shop floor - we do the rest," says Matthias March, Director Product Management at MPDV.
Thanks to pre-installed interfaces, the systems are quickly and flexibly connected to other applications used in the company. Other cloud software systems, such as an ERP, can likewise be integrated with MPDV's Cloud Connector.
