Handling mass data is one of the most important disciplines of a successful IIoT strategy.

MPDV's Edge Computing Suite (EdgeCS) enables the use of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) to collect and store mass data for analysis and optimization in the manufacturing environment.

Anyone wishing to benefit from IIoT needs flexible tools for the collection, storage and forwarding of mass data (Big Data). Until now, this has usually been done using data loggers directly on the machine, whose memory (e.g. SD card) had to be regularly emptied and read out centrally. With EdgeCS this time-consuming activity is no longer necessary, because the data is stored online in a noSQL database. Thus, any application can access the data flexibly - independent of spatial conditions and in line with the Internet of Things (IoT).

Originally planned as a tool for mass data acquisition, the new Edge Computing Suite was additionally equipped with its own visualization. With a few clicks, captured data can be displayed online and merged into dashboards.
