More transparency - less media disruption

With MPDV's new application "Digital Production Meeting", both the planning as well as the execution and documentation of meetings in the production environment can be digitized. 

As part of the Smart MES Applications (SMA), the Digital Production Meeting replaces paper and standard office software with an intuitive application that is fully integrated into MPDV's Manufacturing Integration Platform (MIP). This reduces the number of unnecessary media breaks. The new application runs on a tablet as well as via internet browser on a notebook or a large touch monitor directly in the shop floor.

The Digital Production Meeting benefits from the assumption that many meetings that take place at different hierarchical levels in the production environment follow the same pattern each time: Presentation of current key figures and evaluations, discussion of upcoming projects and clarification of current problems. The agenda is usually set in advance and minutes of the meeting are also available. It is not unusual for topics to be delegated from one meeting to the next decision-making level. The Digital Production Meeting maps all these functions in a clearly structured web application, thereby increasing the overall transparency.
