Mosbach, 07.13.2020 – The Russian software specialist ALEKTA has become a MIP partner with its mApp AMON, an application for the monitoring of CNC machines.
"AMON is an mApp for the detailed monitoring of machines. AMON stands for Automated MONitoring for CNC Machines,“ explains Maxim Polonevich, Deputy General Director for Project Activities at ALEKTA-Soft, LLC (www.alekta-soft.com). "The application has been developed to evaluate machine performance, to analyze downtimes and to schedule system maintenances at an early stage. AMON also supports the companies when it comes to taking management decisions for resources in a timely manner." AMON is based on an automatic detection of the different resource statuses of CNC machines. The data is directly extracted from the machine controls of Siemens, Fanuc, Heidenhain, Okuma, HAAS, etc. or via OPC UA.
"'AMON of ALEKTA is an addition to the current portfolio of mApps for the analysis of machine data," outlines Steffen Münch, Key Account Manager MIP at MPDV. "This way, we can keep our promise to bring together a variety of specialized applications in an ecosystem of manufacturing IT."
The MIP ecosystem benefits everyone
"For us as a long-standing MPDV service partner and outsourcing developer for HYDRA, it was a matter of course that we would contribute to the MIP," says Polonevich. "When we delved into the MIP philosophy, we soon saw a great opportunity for our customers and also for us as service provider. With the MIP developed by MPDV, we jointly enter the fourth generation of manufacturing IT." With more than 100 highly qualified employees, ALEKTA, headquatered in Novosibirsk, Russia, is a perfect example of the innovative power of the "Silicon Taiga", as this region is called. By joining the MIP ecosystem, ALEKTA is further expanding its worldwide presence as a service provider, building on more than 27 years of success in the implementation of integrated information systems for companies and manufacturing.
"We welcome ALEKTA as partner in the MIP ecosystem and are looking forward to interesting projects," confirms Steffen Münch. "The platform is the future of manufacturing IT. Together we make sure that more and more companies can benefit from the platform."
About the MIP
Manufacturing processes are becoming increasingly complex. This is the reason why today's companies are asking for flexible platform solutions allowing to program applications according to their specific requirements and to combine applications from different providers. MPDV's MIP is the first solution of production IT that makes all this possible.
The MIP is used as a central information and data platform in production and for all connected processes. All applications communicate using a common information model guaranteeing global interoperability. MIP users select from a multitude of so-called manufacturing apps (mApps) of various providers. These mApps provide different functions and can be combined according to the users' requirements. Companies can also develop their own mApps and offer them on the MIP marketplace. System integrators can create customized solutions from available applications for their customers. This transforms the MIP into an ecosystem of users, providers and system integrators providing completely new business models.
