Plan Do Check Act / PDCA – Smart Factory Glossary
Plan Do Check Act, or PDCA for short, is an iterative method for the continuous improvement of processes and products. The management cycle is made up of four phases:
- Plan
- Do
- Check
- Act
The aim of the PDCA cycle is to systematically optimize and continuously improve processes. Companies use this cycle to identify problems, test solutions, and implement sustainable improvements
