In Detailed Scheduling, the orders roughly planned in the ERP or in a PPS solution are scheduled for the capacities available in production, i.e. machines and resources. This includes defining a sequence for operations of an order and specifying their basic dates. The planner decides which machines, tools and other resources are used.
The mApp Detailed Scheduling provides a graphic planning board (Gantt chart) to visualize the scheduling. This board helps to manually plan your operations or improve the results of the automatic detailed scheduling. The integration of real-time data from production turns your planning into a controlling tool. You can also use the mApp for multi-site planning even if the sites are in different time zones. Conflicts arising from production planning are listed in a clear overview. If combined with the appropriate solutions, all changes made to the planning are directly available in production.
Perfectly use existing resources in production. Reduce lead times, idle times and waiting times. Improve on-time delivery.
If production orders are planned with little idle times and short lead times, machines and other resources do not cause unnecessary costs. Also, a temporary storage of semi-finished products costs money. Clear planning with APS FEDRA supports companies in reducing this waste. If enhanced by the AI-based planning with the application AI Planning, all cost-driving factors of production are optimized.
The mApp uses data of the Virtual Production Reality (ViPR) of MPDV's Manufacturing Integration Platform (MIP).
The mApp schedules orders and operations transferred from other systems or created by other mApps. The mApp provides several support features for production planning. MPDV also offers the following mApps for this purpose:
