FAQ

    General information about MPDV training courses

  • Registration

    To register for MPDV training courses or Certification Days, simply log in to the web shop, select the appropriate training and conveniently book your training. You don't have access to our web shop? Then register as a new customer, wait for approval by one of our employees - and off you go! Or simply send an e-mail to trainings@mpdv.com to register for your favored training.

    We recommend early planning and booking, as the number of participants in our training courses is limited. Registrations are accepted in the order of receipt.

  • Terms & Conditions

    You can find the terms and conditions for participation in our trainings here. By registering for the training, you agree to the terms and conditions.

  • Hotels & accommodation

    We recommend staying overnight locally for training sessions lasting more than one day or several consecutive training sessions. We are happy to provide you with our hotel recommendations. Hotel costs are not included in the price for the training course. 

  • Course language

    We offer our training courses in German, English and Chinese. Other languages are possible by arrangement.

    You can always find out in which language a particular training course will be held in our events calendar in the MPDV web shop or by contacting us directly at trainings@mpdv.com.

  • Training hours

    One-day training courses start at 9:00 am. For any training lasting more than one day, we start at 10:00 am. Training courses usually end at 5 pm.

  • Technical requirements

    Our standard training courses are conducted using the required software.

  • Trainer

    Training courses are held by qualified MPDV trainers who have hands-on experience with the introduction and application of the MES HYDRA. The participants have the opportunity to consolidate their theoretical knowledge with practical exercises in HYDRA.

  • Documents & certificates

    In addition to the lectures, each participant is given detailed training documents and a certificate of attending the course.

  • Certification & qualification

    MPDV Certified Specialist / MPDV Certified Solution Developer

    You have different options to get certified. Prior participation in the associated training is required. Our experts will test your acquired knowledge of working with the MES. Certification Day takes place four times a year at our corporate headquarters in Mosbach, Germany.

    • As a user, you can be certified in Manufacturing (MF), Quality Management (QM), and Human Resources (HR) or for specific HYDRA modules. 
    • As a developer, you can be certified as an MOC Developer, an AIP Developer and an SMA Developer. 

    Certification process

    • Multiple choice tests containing questions from daily working routines
    • Individual potential analysis with suggestions for further personal development
    • At the end you will receive a certificate

    Qualify as an MPDV Expert

    In addition, you can train to become an MPDV expert by taking part in a comprehensive all-inclusive program. The offer is aimed at implementation partners and customers who, at people who want to become internal MPDV process consultants and multipliers in their own companies and the ones who support manufacturing during system introduction or the further development. The focus of the training is on the digital integration of processes in the areas of Manufacturing Processes, Shop Floor Integration, Quality Management, Human Resources as well as Shop Floor Scheduling. Participants in the training program acquire the technical expertise and required process know-how to act as MES HYDRA and APS FEDRA consultants. 

    Certification process

    • You undergo an assessment consisting of practical tasks in different areas and a personal potential analysis.
    • Support from our experienced trainers
    • You get a certificate at the end of the training program
